Childhood pictures

I have had cats since 1984 but they have always just appeared on my doorstep out of nowhere.  This is the first time I went to a shelter and picked out the cat I wanted just based upon his looks.

The first picture I took was really for size comparison.  In two years I will take a picture of him with that same bedroom slipper and we can see how the slipper became substantially smaller over that time.

In the following picture I was trying to capture some of his markings.  You can see that he does indeed have some brown hair which is why they called him a brown tabby although in most of these pictures he appears mostly gray.  Notice the five lines on the back of his neck which travel forward and converge on the top of his head.  Verrrry Interesting!!!

I am very sad to report that Gizmo had to be returned to the no-kill shelter. I discovered I was allergic to my cats and could not have four in the house.
