When I was taking the second picture below I asked him out loud, "What are you doing?"  It looks very strange,
I guess this must be a Mr. Jack Megastretch.

Now....why would a mostly black cat think that a laundry basket full of clean white clothes is a cat bed?  He's sound asleep!

In the first picture I thought he was asleep but if you look closely, there is one cat eye peering at me as I'm taking the picure.  The caption for the second picture is, "I'm so glad you're home from your trip!"

I have never had a cat that does this, but Jack likes to stick his head inside a smelly old shoe, grab the shoe with his front paws, then roll over on his back and kick at it with his back legs.  I tried to get a picture of him in the act, but I don't think he wanted the ritual on the web, every time I went to snap the picture he would stop what he was doing!

In the first picture he is sitting on top of a bundle of cardboard boxes.  He's giving me one of those intense Jack looks and the flash makes it look like he has a light bulb inside his head!

In the middle of 2007 we got a brand new kitten that was added to our household.  I told Jack it is his responsibility to keep the new kitten in line!  The following picture shows how he looks at the end of the day now, it is hard work!

The following picture just proves what I have always suspected, he really is a basket case
