Pool Construction Pictures

They started out with a back yard and drew some lines on the ground....

Then they dug a big hole in the ground.....

Then they put pipes all around and steel bars in the hole which defined the shape of things to come....

Once the shotcrete was in the pool was a reality, I had to water it twice a day for 4 days....  To see pictures of the shotcrete phase, click here.

Then they poured the deck, added boulders, and built the waterfall....

Then they put the permadeck coating on the deck so we can walk on it in the summer heat....

Then they added the pebbletech coating to the sides of the pool......  To see how they added the pebbletech, click here.

Then we filled it with water and it was ready to use!

I wanted them to get artistic with the river rock, they put some behind the waterfall.  The second picture below is the backwash pit.  You don't know how hard I had to work to dig that hole and move that dirt!  Koleen and I worked until 11:30 that Friday night moving dirt around!  The last two pictures are of the sparkling blue water.
